How on earth do you put water in RCT3? I'm in sandbox mode, i dig a trench and I try to fill it with water. But I can't do anything. i've tried raising land and putting a hole in the middle, anything you can think of. What am I doing wrong?

Normaly you dig a hole like you said you did and click on the side of the hole with the water tool. Just make sure when you click to add water that the hole is deep enough to be filled with water. Other than that I don't know?

I just found out there was a bug with intel gfx cards so there was water but it wasnt appearing
