Ok so here it is..... My first attempt at an rct3 recreation.
I am going to do a recreaation of the american adventure theme park (ilkeston)

Im just learning the in depth features of the game (e.g landscaping ect) so please bear with me as i will constantly change landscapes, buildings ect
Please feel free to post your opinions and constructive comments.
Any helpfull hints and advice will be greatly appreciated.
And it will be intresting to see what other peaple think.
Im constantly looking for park photos, videos ect so if any body has anything that they think would help please feel free to share.
Things to note.

1) I am a bit of a perfectionist so exspect things to change.

2) This park will be done in stages so please dont exspect marvals overnight.

3) I will try and update as often as I can with images and info as I progress with the park.

Ok I have started constructing the large lake that is in the centre of the park. So far it is a rough guide to the size/shape the lake is and i have not started to smooth/slope the edges yet.
The first picture shows the lake with water.

Please note that this is so far just a rough guide and will not be the final shape. More updates tommorow

oK after spending a good 3 hours with the lake I started again.:roll:
I thought it would have been better to start with the highest ground first (ie) the old entrance plazza. I have had an atempt at it but Im pritty shore its nothing like it, so if any on has any pictures of the origanal entrance plaza and as you walk down the steps towards the park, Aztect kingdom this would be greatly recived as im stuck untill i can get the hieghts as close as possible.
Anyways heres the pics.........

I will try and start construction at the entrance the park is using now and twin looper area but if someone can provide pictures of the entrance plaza and area leading down to the park this would be a great help

A request.....
Is anyone a dab hand at custom sceanery? Id post on the atari forums but it wont let me register. Im after a few signs and sceanery peaices.

it looks awsome, if the entrance looks that good, let me see the rest!

Ok I have changed the entrance and started a few things again.

1) These are the old ticket boths at the old entrance plaza.
     (note that I have not constructed the colums yet)


2) I have now added the white plinths that are at the top of the brick work and white corners. (The red fences were used as make shift queues when buying tickets to enter the park)


3) Overveiw of the improved frontage of the entrance plaza (Note the bill board signs have now gone, I did not like the way they looked so im looking for someone to make them Please let me know if you can help.)


4) These are the pictures im doing my entrance reconstruction from. Let me know what you think. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
