C&C Woodland Park - Cancelled

#1
Woodland Park is a large scenic park in the North of England. It is a park run by a small company buying mainly travelling rides like the HUSS Booster. In 2002 it recieved a cash grant from the council and with it it purchesed its latest ride - the 200ft Wooden Coaster, Thunderstruck which runs the length of the park. All of the money went on the actual ride so there was no themeing and the whole park is was mainly generic. The park owners realised this and decided to make more themed rides so at the beggining of 2003 they started making the dark ride - Starlight, a vekoma ride in a dark building but there were many problems so the construction was called off and an empty huge building was left at the back of the park where guests coludn't go. But the owners still felt that a vekoma coaster would be a good installation for the park so in January 2004 they built Looper, Woodland Parks first inverting sit down coaster. but because of this big investment the park soon lost money and had to sell up in August 2004.

C&C, a large tourism company bought the park and began to refurbish it. The first thing they did was add a new space themed area to the back of the park around the huge empty building, and inside the building they created SHUTTLE, a maurer x type coaster. They also added a giant frisbee next to it. This large expansion of the park attracted lots of guests and C&C had plenty of money to work with over 2005.

They cleaned up the whole park, added station buildings, scenary and took sponsership from McDonalds, KFC, and Pizza Hut to build proper resturants rather than little burger vans. Two new rides were created in 2005 also - Scream, the 230ft roto drop tower. And the amazing B&M inverted coaster - Black Dragon! which is located near the entrance of the park in the forest which was cut off to guests in its earlier days.

The park is now looking in much better conditions and C&C promise to make this park one of the biggest parks in England. It will open January 2006 then every month a new ride/attraction will be created and lots of things will be coming to C&C Woodland Park

-The new enrance to the lift hill, befor C&C bought the park this was overgrown with weeds and nettles
-Rattle - the oldest remaining ride on the park, a small side friction coaster which is actually quite forceful
-The new giant frisbee ride - Hyperspace, and the old building for starlight where Shuttle now stands
-The old, shuttle coaster which was one of the more popular rides when it was opened
-Terminate - the only travalling coaster that still remains in the park
-The very popular ThunderStruck, this is its 200ft lift hill standing proud
-The length of Thunderstuck - as you can see it runs through the fields of the parks land which aren't used

This is the file which contains the park and all the images need for billboards, extract them where you want, they dont need to be anywhere inparticular.

construction has allready started for February as it is a large installment to the park! There are rumors of a B&M floorless or stand up coaster and a press release will apparently come in due time explaining the full details of the ride!
