Tiki...and that's at the expensive, more nice movie theater where I usually go.  The cheapest place around is the 1.50 movie...which shows the movies two-three months after they come out.

where did you say you lived again? Walmart World? :?

Ha Ha.Funny.

No, there is a place in Matthews NC (just a few miles from Charlotte) that lets you see the movies for 1.50. I have never been there. I usually go to the movie theater in Ballyntine, which is one of the, if not the most wealthiest area in all of North Carolina...gotta love it when you see teens my age driving bentleys, bmws, etc... In then we pull up in my 2004 Ford Escape. lol.

Tikitiki, there was always going to be a third, that's why it's called a "trilogy" :P

Quote:oh man coasterdude. We have to pay 12$ for adult and 9$ for a child/student!

(my response to both postsSmile

Let's see, we have a $1 theatre for older movies, just like coasterdude89 has ($1.50 for the evenings, $0.50 on tuesday, $1.75 Sat/Sun after 6PM)

Then there is AMC, which is more expensive - $4 before noon on Fri, Sat, Sun, and holidays; $8.50 for adults, $5.50 for children, and $6.50 for seniors the rest of the time.

And the last one would be a cheaper, yet still "new movies" theater: shows before 6 pm: All seats $3.50; Shows after 6 pm: Adults $6.00, Seniors $3.50, Children $3.50

But you live in California, so it makes sense to be more expensive :P

Quote:To make the comparisson easier, my £10 is equal to $18.50.

Now, knowing that, would you spend $18.50 to see a film?
Never.
