Right then, about two months ago, the Mixmaster worked fine, as you'd expect it would. Since then, my PC crashed completely so I reinstalled all RCT3 games, I installed all the custom scenery there is, I downloaded some custom fireworks, and installed all the patches.

However, the other day, I went to use the MixMaster for the first time since I reinstalled RCT3, and it doesn't work properly. Say I place a firework or laser or something on the bottom track. If I try and then place one on the track above it, it automaticall jumps down to the track below and overlaps the first firework. So I have to leave gaps inbetween each track I use.

This isn't really a life-threatening problem, but it's just really annoying when I try to make fireworks in rapid succession. And it will be really really annoying when I try and make the mega-huge MixMaster show to go with my six-way coaster.

I asked on the Atari Forums but I've only had one reply saying to check my folders to see if there's anything there that shouldn't be, and I haven't found anything yet. Any help would be appreciated.

That's very weird. It's never happened to me. It wasn't doing it before the crash. It started after you reinstalled RCT3. Are you sure you have all the same patches installed as you did before, and installed in order? Can you think of anything that was installed before and that is not now?

That happens to me all the time aswell now! I just try to ignore it but I dont think it can be anything to do with patches cus I dont have any.

Doesn't happen to me. Must be some sort of "mode" setting you've overlooked, or the install might be corrupt. It does happen.

I hate to even suggest this, but you might want to save your files off somewhere, and uninstall, then re install, then open the fireworks editor. It's the only way to see if anything you've added is causing the problem.

But, before you do, use a little deluted glass cleaner and give your disc a wipedown. Clean with strokes from the center, out to the edge. Not around the disc

^ Will try cleaning it later. Can't be bothered to unistall everything...

But anyway, it doesn't bother me so much now. This is actually the main reason I'm making custom scenery particle effects, so that I don't have to use the MixMaster.
