Am I the only one, becoming a bit bored of reading threads back from the glory days; when RCT3 still had a future, and there were loads of different forums, loads of parks and threads in the Exchange forums. But of late all I can see is nothing, RCT3X is turning into a ghost town and me and the tumble weeds are becoming a tad lonely.

I was wondering if anyone has any news or if they are just bored of the game and the site.

Oh yeah; before anyone says anything, this isn't just RCT3X which is dying alot of other forums are too, but I visit this site most days and there are barely any new threads or updates.

Yeh, the site is getting a bit quiet. But what can we do about a dying game

I hardly play on RCT3 as im busy with other work, so I cant show off any parks etc...

I have treid to get some new things going, like the 'Picture of the Month' and started some of the forum games again.

I suppose it will never be buzzin until we get some more news of RCT3 or RCT4

I agree that the forums are quiet, But like youve both said the game is in no current state of being developed. I thought of doing some competitions  but of coarse we need more then a few active members to take part. I know im in the process of making my new website and once thats up and running ill be posting new things in the exchange forums. Another idea that came to me was possibly merging with some other of the rct sites to generate more members but i think this would be a drastic option.

Merging would definitely by a very last-resort, drastic situation, but when I think we're far from. The mere fact that we're still standing up in the dying rct3 world is a great figure to look at.

Ah yes but can you imagine how cool; an all in one RCT3 site would be www.rct3xmadnessgobeatstoptownpeepszonesaproductionsandco.com would be amazing, if not a tad hard to type.

Well we could always try something radical and fresh like erm, any ideas?

I would do a competition, but there isnt really any decent prizes to give away (i.e. a signed copy of RCT4)

Depends on what goes on as regards to the game. Everything i think of, I.e group parks, compatitions etc etc needs members and they need to be active. As much as there is still the odd member joining and peeps posting i dont think there is enough active members.

The compatitions that we have now are ok and on the right track to getting peaple involved but its the same peeps entering. What about trying diffrent ways of making it a bit more challenging I.E post your picture could be themed to a certain type of picture. I.E 1 month the theme could be futureistic and the next could be western.

I think the money plugin that we had for posts was a nice addition but we didnt have an incentive for the the amount of money we gained.

Sad thing is nobody wants to do much unless it will benifit them. I know jag did a creators section on his forums where the member had there own forum sections for there creations. but again i dont think theres enough active members for that type of thing.

Erm yeah, you can take the images and pop them on a page if you want. I need to do a new issue at some point.
