It may seem this way at least. It looks like this franchise is over. With TPB3D coming in 2009, It's very unlikley that we'll see a RCT4 coming. The downfall started with RCT3. I started to become less attracted to the game. I still play RCT2 all the time. But if there was going to be a RCT4, it would have come out in 2006. RCT1 came in 2000, RCT2 came in 2002, and RCT3, came in 2004. Now it's 2008. The RCT franchise is clearly dead.
But there is something that will succeed the franchise. TPB3D is a project currently in progress, with an approximate 2009 release. If we're really luck we'll see screenshots this summer. There used to be 3 devs, but now there's two. It will be a billion times better than RCT3, and it will be free.
Well I'm just letting you know something's coming. But don't ask me questions, I'm not a dev and I know very little about what this is going to be like.

Edit: Atari is making it offical that RCT is dead. There was a lawsuit, and I just read a thread about someone sending an e-mail to atari and they said there will be no RCT4.
