Is there a patch for tunnels to be bored? I don't want anything else from the expansion packs, nor do I want to have to spend real money for tunnels.

Perhaps a little more explanation on what you need the tunnel to do?

If by 'bored' you mean tunnels going through hills etc, they already do that.
