Is that all it says, or is there more to the "runtime error"?
RCT3 runs fine here on Windows Vista Home Premium...
I had a couple problems w/ Vista initially. Actually, installing period. My CD was a tad bad. I copied the entire CD to a temp folder (This took a couple times, but copy is more robust than the installer). Then, install from that temp.
Next, the first time I started up I got an error of some kind (I don't remember what), I just fired it up again... off to the games.
Next, I had a problem with pathing to billboards and music. That was solved by making a junction from the old XP My* folders to the new Vista folders. (Thats one of the great things about Vista... true symbolic links!)
I had intiall problems with the same error, once i had installed it i right clicked on the RCT3 logo on the desktop and go to properties.
Once i did that there is a tab with compatibility tab, click on that and you will see compatibity mode.
Within that box you will see Run this program in compatbility mode for, cheak the little box beside this statement and from the drop down box make sure it says windows xp service pack 2. Once you have done that it should load mine did after i had done that. Hope this helps you out.
