I'm having trouble making magic here.

So I was in Photoshop, and I was about to start making DarkSlade's. I thought it'd be pretty easy to make a metallic look, with a simple silver and white gradient and a cool bevel, but unfortunately it turned out wacky and bad (looking). I think I'm going to need to learn Illustrator for this, as it has a lot more options for bevel and stroke designs. If anyone can help me learn how to use the same "Layer Style" principles in Illustrator like in Photoshop, or you can find me a tutorial on how to make the shiny metal look, tell me. I'd like to find out.

For some reason this one didn't like me. I don't know if I got the bevel right, but you may be wondering why there isn't just a transparent version. It's because for some odd reason, when I make it transparent, the colors are about 10 times brighter, and I couldn't lower the opacity to dim them. So I made it with and without transparency. BTW, this does NOT work with light backgrounds, so PM me if you want a version for white. I know it's not what you expected, but I couldn't figure out red lasers either, so I made up something.

Hey Alex I'm new here so I just had one request. It's a coaster logo,
Title- Black Titan
Font- I don't really know any of the fonts because I'm new but like kinda a new age look but with an "intimidating" side to it
Type-Logo
Theme-new age but intimidating
Color scheme- Primary-black secondary-red and if possible some metallic Crome would look cool to.
Size-I don't really know just like average
