Your help please

Hey folks,

Great site you have here!

So I'm pretty new to the whole RCT3 thing. Loving it so far but I'm getting frustrated and hoped someone could help me or point me in the right direction.

Firstly, how do you build underground? I have a safari transport going through a hill and I want to put a dinosaur bone just sitting in the tunnel.

I know you hold shift to place the object, but I can't work out how you remove the ground if you see what I'm saying?!

I can place the object underground but the people can't see it, and I can't see it, because its buried in the tunnel wall.

I'd also like to build a ghost house type ride so would need to be able to do this for the ghostly themes. I've tried but all I can manage to do it lower/raise the object with the ground.

Secondly, how do you add depth to pools?

Thirdly, what's the best type of ride to use for best effect of the ride events? I've made a great Jaws and Jurassic Park type ride (IMO) and now want to use Danger Canyon and the such but every ride I seem to do passes them by too quickly. Ideally I'd want a transport ride to stop and observe it. Help please Smile

Such a noob.

Many thanks!!

Go to the glasses button on the left (2nd from top, seen here) and then somewhere in that menu there should be a button to sort of "see through" the underground...

Unfortunately, you can't; there's only the regular depth. Don't worry, they don't get hurt jumping off the diving board - they always seem to land perfectly (:

You could use brakes to slow down the coaster and so they can see it...

Excellent! Thanks a lot!

It's amazing how the little things frustrate you so much.

I was really worried about that whole pool thing when I needn't have been, the annoying part is I shouldn't have deleted my pool!

You can't add breaks to transport rides can you? Has anyone made a decent coaster/ride using danger canyon/the other one with the boulder etc?

Many thanks for the swift reply!

About the pool depth, peeps don't always land perfectly, they can hurt themselves off waterslides, or you can hurt them by putting the flume end of a water slide to a densely populated pool and releasing test dummies on all the peeps, the will get hit and yelp, and if they are in the pool, they will get tripped.
