How to Create a Download Button

How to Create a Download Button
for the forums

1. Make a neat, clean download button in photoshop.

2. Upload the file you want for people to download to a media hosting site like www.mediafire.com.

3. Download the file.

4. In Mozilla Firefox, click on the orange "Firefox" button in the top-left corner. Click downloads on the right side, then find the file you downloaded. Right click on it and hit "Copy Download Link".

In Google Chrome, click on the three lines in the top-right corner. Click downloads. There will be a list of all the things you have downloaded from the internet. Find the file you just downloaded, and you will see a blue link. Clicking on this link will download the file, so right-click and copy it.

5. Go to the thread you are creating the download button in, and type: "".

6. Open a new tab, and then go to www.imageshack.us, or any other image hosting website. Make an account if required, and upload your download button.

7. Find the direct link for the image and copy it, for example:

http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/1627/do...tons04.png

8. Go back to the new thread or reply tab and right next to the right bracket, type [img]. Then paste the direct link next to that.

9. One final step, type this: [/img]

To see what the text would look like once your done, click the download button:

Get GIMP!

It's basiclly a program made by the community to copy the full photoshop. I have been using it for years, and like it more then photoshop elements and photoshop cs6.
