[WIP] Rocky River Amusement Park

#21

Update 4:

Today happened to be very exciting! (I also stopped putting the logo on the pictures, since it is a pain to Photoshop them all and have logos, when there is one at the top of each update. It was just to keep people from stealing my credit, but I don't really care anymore.)

I came into the entrance, though, and there was nothing tall coming out of the horizon. Sigh. Frown
[Image: shot0703.png]

Then as I walked along the bridge, I noticed something yellow and tall poking out of the trees. Construction crane, possibly? Wink
[Image: shot0704.png]

I came closer and I was very excited to find out new roller coaster is coming!

Also there is a new unfinished building and what looks like a foundation for expanded paths too. I have no idea what will be inside. Hopefully an eatery.

I wanted to get a better view of it so I climbed up on a planter and somehow no one noticed me (or at least that I know of. Tongue).

I took a breathtaking shot of the ferris wheel while about to hop on to get some pics up high.

Unfortunately, the wheel was closed for maintenance. I asked a worker and they told me that the motor had failed and they had to manually rotate the wheel to get the people off.

I forgot to mention earlier that there was also a new strength tester. Every park's gotta have one of those!

Well, it's time to go home already! Good thing I have a season pass because it would be a real waist of money until they get more rides up!

And I will leave you with another overview of the progress so far. It's really coming along nicely!

New rides in the next update!

Update 5:

Welcome back, again!

Still nothing rising high above the bridge. WHY!?

Ohh, but look what I see.

The roller coaster is finished!

It's not the tallest, but it'll do.

The train reminds me of Big Thunder Mountain RR at Disney.

I tried to get the most of the track in this shot. It sure is long!

Still nothing is happening at the train station, so I went to the ferris wheel to get a high shot.

It looks like it could be a mine themed coaster.

It's worth a shot to see if they put anything near the entrance.

Sure enough, there is a new area for paths!

I don't have an overview, but a shot of the day instead!

Looking to see more flat rides now that there is a roller coaster. They need to open it though!

It's the BTM CTR from RCTman12's Roller Coaster Revamped set.

Update 6:

I'm really excited this time, I hope the roller coaster is running! Biggrin

Here I am at the entrance.

And the well known ferris wheel.

Then the train station.

Looks like the new building is finished!

I found some palm trees! Something tropical.

A new flat ride!

I saw the new roller coaster in the queue. STILL TESTING.

It looks pretty fun.

I found a good view of the transfer track section. It's a weird layout, and the fact that it is at the beginning of the ride.

Here's the exit. Nothing much.

And I got a shot from on top of the ferris wheel. I find that ride very handy for overview shots.

I just remembered the new path area last time and went to go check it out. I was suprised how much progress they are getting done!

But all there is so far is a bathroom and I guess what will be a fountain.

Well it's time to go back home. I wish they would open that roller coaster already!

Surely enough, the overview.

See you soon!

Hello, my name is George Hudson, but you can call me Mr. Hudson, owner of Rocky River Amusement Park. I need your help to decide which ride should come next in RRAM. Here are your choices:

Arrow looper - http://cache.rcdb.com/50l00vlc8c7so01lu00a40.jpg
Wild mouse - http://cache.rcdb.com/4iu03uhh1gvj0g6nm0n300.jpg
Log flume - http://www.carowinds.com/images/rides/Ne...rFalls.JPG
Kiddie coaster - http://cache.rcdb.com/97fv4001fsm463uc062hk0.jpg
Flat ride - http://www.carowinds.com/images/rides/Yo%20Yo71.jpg

Just tell me what ride you want and whatever rides are voted most will be built!

Note: I have also posted a survey on www.rctlounge.com, and I will combine the results.
