Marlibue Lake Amusement park EST. 1972
A small park built near Searsmont MA. This park was started by a millenaire who had always wanted to own and run an amusement park, in late september, 1985 the park was hit by Hurricane Gloria, It did massive damage by flooding the walkways and destroying some of Flyer the park's one and only coaster. The park sat abandoned and empty until 1995 when they started making preperations to reopen the park, they redid the supports on Flyer making them more sturdy so then they could withstand a category 2 hurricane again. When the supports were done, they decided to start on the rest of the park by making newer sturdier buildings, (also able to withstand a Cat. 2) and starting on a new arrow corkscrew coaster, Here is a picture I got of Flyer's lift hill when my friends dared me to sneak in the park last summer,
it was so cool to get to see the park I went to, during my childhood being rebuilt again, when its finished i will definantly go back there again
