Okay, well yes. If you hit the disable button for a group, it will place the install it as two ovl files: common and unique. I think the bigger issue here is that he didn't run the program as the admin, which made it install the folders in the wrong place, in a hidden folder, therefore he cannot search it. I'm not thinking that it was pressing the disable check-box because he said he searched it and couldn't find it anywhere. Program files are not hidden, either so he would be able to search it easily.
