Hi - I am also facing the same issue. How do you play the downloads in this forum on RCT3 for MAC? Where do you upload the files to?

Are there any MAC RCT experts out there that can help?!

Thanks

I also tried putting the .dat file in my documents>RCT3 folder under parks but it would not show up in the game.

On the Mac the dat files are all stored in ~/Library/Application Support/RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum/Parks

In Finder click on Go -> Go To Folder and copy and paste above. You won't see it unless your Finder is set to view hidden/system folders

All other user data is stored ~/Library/Application Support/RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum/ in each respected folder. "coaster" have all the .trk etc..etc..

I did all that and I'm having trouble Finding the " /Library/Application Support/RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum/Parks" folder in the first place... I have Finder set so I can see hidden files and I'm just not seeing it...

Edit: For the Mac users out there with the latest software.. this might have a lot to do with how Yosemite is different from Mountain Lion..just a theory because no matter what that folder doesn't show up.

1. Open Finder
2. Hover over "All my Files"
3. Press Shift-Command-G
4. Enter "~/Library" (without the quotation marks) into the box
5. Select "Containers"
6. Select your RCT3 folder (mine is labled as com.aspyr.rct3.appstore)
7. Select "Data"
8. Select "Library"
9. Select "Application Support"
10. Select "RCT3 Platinum" (or whatever version you have)
11. All your files will be in this next section. Coasters, Parks, Scenarios, ect.

All files go here once downloaded. There is no need to change the file type at all once you place the file in this folder. You CANNOT copy the folder into your desktop as a shortcut. The files will not fully be installed.

Any questions.
