Official Station Thread
No, I made it a long time ago and now's just meh.
I mean it's really generic.

Here are the stations to some of the rides placed so far in Concordia Gardens Zoo and Aquarium:
While not actually a station, it’s the entrance to my pool complex so I believe that qualifies this image. In the foreground is the pool shops plaza the scenery to which I’ve upgraded slightly. Although I’ve indicated this park is clogged I was able to adjust the scenery by going back to the park iteration just prior to placing the entrance plaza scenery, the placement of which was the reason I couldn’t do anything further with my park.
Continuing past the pool shops plaza are the changing rooms to pool complex. As you can see they’re all non-CS ship-themed changing rooms. They’re the only changing rooms that come with the game that I like and I think they really suit. It’s not very likely I’ll be using custom changing rooms any time soon.
It looks likely that Dolphin and Orca shows will be going in the park to the right of pool shops plaza (between it and aquarium) with possibly a flat ride or two to the left (between it and south food court which is off the image to the left).
After the changing rooms can be seen the hedged path leading to the aquarium.
I consider this a station shot as in this image are the entrances to the four pool rides. So their appearance wouldn’t compete with the Egyptian pillars there are plain canvas awnings covering aqua blaster, H2O slide bowl and body slide stations. The striped canopy covering the lazy river station can be seen at the top of the image just to the right, and also in the following image. At one point I was using lights from AzoRctMan’s light set to light the canopy at night but wasn’t sure I was entirely satisfied with it lighting up the canopy supports above the canopy. I’ve since seen some of the other lighting in other parks doesn’t light precisely accurately so I’ve decided that at some point I’m going to put Azo’s lights back. I’ll also put them beneath the plain canvas canopies for the other pool ride stations. The three sets of ‘spiral’ stairs leading up to the pool ride stations have lights for night viewing. I’m working on something to get the pool ride paths lit.
I believe I will eventually remove the manicured palms at the top left of the image and put a dense arrangement of forest-ey trees there. I think forest coming right up to the pool edge would be a great contrast.
The placement of the lounges and sunbrellas in this area leaves a lot to be desired. Most of this side of the pool is the original location of the changing rooms for pool complex but when I placed this pool complex in this park I moved the changing rooms around to the next side. What I did after that was simply remove the showers and other scenery and scatter in the lounges and sunbrellas that you see there.
H2O slide bowl may appear to be an insufficient distance to the pool water but the guests actually land in the water with a realistic amount of clearance from that distance. I will be placing another pool fountain below where the water runs out of H2O slide bowl so the water running out looks realistic, like it actually has somewhere to go.
Here we are hovering over the pandas’ enclosure looking at the lazy river station. I had instant success in placing stone cladding over the lazy river station but have had no success going over and over possibilities to replace those ugly supports underneath. I’ve recently downloaded Terra Temple, Weber’s Ultimate Adventure and Weber’s Large Rock Set and will soon be giving those a try.
This is a great shot of the aquarium which includes the stations to rowing boats and jet skis. The ducks have obligingly settled in the water for this shot. You’ll note this shot was taken so soon after placing these two water rides that I haven’t yet removed the ironwork railing trellis at the points where guests are to access these rides.
A couple of flat rides will be going in the blank area at the top left of this image.
I particularly like this area of the park because here I have successfully integrated the steam railway, the monorail, the guest path system and the park access roadway. In the background of this image is the monorail station. The current monorail is DasMatze’s Park Jet, soon to be replaced with Weber’s Mag-Lev. I was going for a modern, regatta look for this station. I think I’ve achieved that and what I’ve come up with may well suit the mag-lev when it’s placed. I’ve got some great monorail track scenery with which to replace the remaining in-game monorail track supports.
While I have placed the park access roadway gates I don’t at this time have any idea what sort of enclosure walls I’d like or where I’d put them.
All the blank areas here will have foliage to suggest the land the park is on used to be forest.
This is an image showing the steam railway, canoes and windsurfer stations. With the steam railway station I wanted a custom station surround like with the monorail but with a different look to the monorail station. I’ve used plain canvas awnings here because I wanted something slightly more rustic and I’ve painted the awning supports because I didn’t want bare-bones rustic. One or two coasters and some flat rides will be going in the bare area at the top left of the image, where I hope to also place a life-sized chess board surrounded with battlements. To the right of the image can be seen the horses enclosure and to the left the north food court. As you may have noticed at the left in this image I have begun custom supports for the monorail but haven’t completed them yet. Again, all the blank areas alongside steam railway station will have foliage to suggest the land the park is on used to be forest.

Thanks for your favourable comment Cpaddict.
Some of you may recall from my previous post I was intending to replace DasMatze’s Park Jet with one of the Europa Park monorails but because they wouldn’t install properly I next thought the ideal solution would be to replace the Park Jet with Weber’s Mag-Lev. Although the Mag-Lev is extremely attractive, beautifully rendered and just what I want, it’s huge and won’t fit the existing custom station or custom supports I’ve already placed and intend to keep. Mag-Lev runs on a realistic cast concrete track that’s downloaded separately. The only downside to Mag-Lev is it comes with standard monorail supports which means both the track and the supports need to be placed as scenery, a triple whammy as one would also need to use support killer (yet more scenery) to achieve the right look. Because the Mag-Lev track is so substantial I don’t want it as high in the air as Park Jet, don’t want to replace the steam railway with Mag-Lev and am not entirely sure at this late stage in my park’s development where I can put a third shuttle. Because Park Jet as it stands runs almost entirely around the outside of my 210 x 210 park and Mag-Lev would be built to similar dimensions I am concerned with the amount of scenery that needs to be placed in order to give Mag-Lev a total appearance. More than likely what I’ll do now is continue to try and find a substitute for Park Jet.
Notwithstanding that, here is another station thread submission, my station from the ride Hot Rails to Hell:
a coaster that I submitted in Build It 122. Hot Rails to Hell is a coaster I built in RCT2 and converted to RCT3. Since I built it the one thing stopping me from entirely liking this ride was the forest of wooden supports that came with the track. As you can see, for my Build It submission I killed all the supports and put in custom ones. I believe the custom supports and the station scenery give this ride a total Jules Verne-esque appearance. I never really appreciated the scale of Hot Rails to Hell until I rode it in RCT3.
