If your disk really has only 2GB of space left that’s no space for anything to work properly on your system. You need to move some of the stuff you’ve put on your disk off that disk to another location.

I thought the instructions you had written were RCT3 instructions but if they’re Windows8 instructions I don’t need them because I have XP and Vista.

To date the CFR’s I have downloaded have gone here

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3\Style\Custom\

If there is no custom folder already you need to add it. Be sure you use an uppercase “C.”

CTR’s go in one, or in both these folders

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3\tracks\TrackedRides\
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3\Cars\TrackedRideCars\

If your CTR or CFR doesn’t come with any installation instructions then they can’t be installed because with no instructions it’s almost impossible to guess where to put the files.

And it’s never a good idea to change the names of custom files that have been downloaded. Changing custom file names is the quickest way to ensure they won’t work.

Hi; just writing to let you know I had to do a redo of my whole computer? What I found out was , the first install of RCT3 wasn't completely deleted. just the Icon . so I had two copies of the game , and that's what took up some space? now I reinstalled RCT3 and all my new rides /music and themes and still have a little over 3G's left and found my computer to run much better. I still am having issues with getting pictures in my billboards and getting the advanced breakdance to work? still getting SID/SVD errors I put them in the right folders , still problems , I did what you told me to do and all my rides work but a few ? Thank you > any suggestions would be appreciated >Rolleyes

I don’t understand what’s up with your system. It seems no matter what you’ve done you end up with minimal disk space.

Move 20GB of your stuff off that disk to another location.

Hi thanks for writing back are you sure you meant to say 20 MB 's that would be the smaller amount? my computer only has 400GB on the hard drive , drive C: and drive D: has 4GB's for a total of 1600GB's this computer has the largest amount of RAM/ROM for this model ? remember I told you this was a Laptop, and I told you yesterday, that I had 300GB"s of free space on my hard drive? 300 GB's is a large amount to have for this game ? this computer is only for this game music and Web search? I don't download much , but for this game ? Now Imagine a pie graph ? and pink :being the amount of space available and blue is the amount used , well the blue piece is only about less then a 16th of the space used ,and the rest is pink free space is this a little more understanding? ONe question are you using America standard numbers or European numbers if that's the case, then I understand why you would think I had a small amount of space? because of your great help I 've learned a lot from you. And have solved a lot of the issues with my game ,OF course I still can't figure out the billboards but I 'm playing again? and stared a new park? TY.darin.

Hello Atlantis: like the Picture ? and just to say I'm so excited!!!! I got my Billboards to work! I followed Alex's instructions for the pictures fix ? using the C prompt. But you have to set the program file for RCT3 to windows 7 or vista for it to work? then you can follow Alex's instructions to the TTTTT and it will work ,mine did and I'm so happy ? you were right ? I did need to clean up and move some files my game is running great with an exception of the advanced Break dancer cfr Can't figure it out it worked before well if I don't get it working that alright? at least the billboards are working ? if any one need directions on how to set the computers programs to an earlier version I can help ? Thank you DarinSmile
