A family trip to a Chinese theme park

#1
Hello again, and today we are going to discuss a trip to a Chinese theme park.

Let's Begin!

Dad (The usual cheerful Dad):Come on kids! Let's ride Screaming Squirrel!

Daughter (The usual teen daughter always texting): *Looks up* Dad, I wish you would ride that.

Son (The usual indescribable son): Dad, do you need to see a optometrist cause only a psycho would ride that.

Dad: Come on ki- *sees kids at another ride* Wait up!

Son: I wanna ride this one dad!

On Ride...
Dad: *Thinks "Couldn't we've done this in Disneyland" and hears consciousness saying "Yes, except that one is much better than this one."*

After the ride...
Son: That was AWESOME!

Daughter: I actually liked that. But I still wish I was at the spa with Mom.

Son: Let's ride the next one! *Leads group to another ride*

Dad: Oh Dear.

To be continued...

LOL I am soon going to Hong Kong, that one has some good parks, will post things from there when I get back.

But I do have another weird moment, although at our home park, when me and my two friends were sent to Dipolog for a Science Competition. (I call the nearby theme park my home park since, where I live there isn't any theme park and Dipolog is just a drive away.)

---

Me: So, we are at this horror house, and we're gonna get in, right?

Aunt: Um, u--yeah.

Colleague #1: Suddenly the attraction turns from cool to scary.

Me: Don't be a scaredy cat, this is just a local park haunted house.

Colleague #2: Well they do say that this is the best horror house in Asia, isn't it?

Me: Hmm... I doubt those claims, but from the decor it's probably ONE of the best.

(As door opens, everyone jumps behind me. Then a tour guide brings us in with her flashlight, and we enter the dark house.)

Tour Guide: Alam niyo...

Me: I'm not so good at Filipino.

Tour Guide: Oh. Let me just get the other script...

(scampers off after breaking fourth wall, then coming back...)

Tour Guide: Okay. Here in this haunted house, it is said that my brother has come here to investigate a murder... and he never came back. Waiting for him to return, I've been living here for quite some time, searching for my brother. It's good to see that you paid a visit.

(Suddenly, the statues behind the display panel stomp, the lights flickering at the same time and the subwoofers around us surprising us with extreme bass. This is good & frightening after all. Colleague #1 jumps behind my back, holds on to my shoulders and shivering, then me shrugging him off.)

Tour Guide: Oh crap. Not the ghosts again. The front door's locked whenever this happens, let me guide you to the way outside...

(skip collapsing and unstable bridge with a monster underneath, several spooky gardens, a white lady chase, the tour guide's brother appearing as a zombie together with other zombies who join the white ladies to chase us, collapsing walls with spikes that almost make me bleed (and yes they do fully close), and very long tunnel...)

Tour Guide: RUN! RUN! RUN!!!

(Suddenly, flashlight flickers, and the battery is almost going out. Almost on cue, colleague #2's glasses dropped, and he dropped on the floor looking for them like a white dog while vampires with pitchforks chase us. Me and Colleague #1 reached the door without realizing this, but realized that only the two of us are left.)

Colleague #1: Hey! Ner? Ner?

Me: *starts crying* My friends and family... they are DEAD.

(And then came the tour guide, Colleague #2 and the rest of my friends & family, running while the vampires chase us. I then try to lead the way out, but then I desperately turned the doorknob to the left and again and again, to no avail.)

Me: This door... it's locked!

(Colleague #1 slaps out my hand, turns the doorknob to the RIGHT and then opens the door, and then brings us out of here. Then, instead of yet another horde of white ladies, we see a rollercoaster. And lights. And a kiddie ride.)

Me: Phew! I almost forgot that we were in an amusement park.

Colleague #1: Tell me about it.
