did you download the rct3 placement tile plugin for sketchup? you will need to intsall it under the plugins and you will also need to install the ase exporter so you can export your models as ase files so you can create your ovls in the importer. make sure you do everything the tutorial says.

When exactly do you get this error message? Is when you try importing your model into the ovl make window? My guess form that error message is that you arent using bmp textures in sketch up or you didnt group the textures right when you saved it.

your texture needs to be exactly 512 X 512 and in bmp or jpeg format.

very useful textures: http://www.cgtextures.com/

go to ms paint and import your image. then go to image and click on attributes. you can set the pixel size from there.

ok now that i can do the images, and set them to 512x512, can you put the text on the object in sketchup? or do you have to do it in gimp or something else? and how?

hmm.... the xyz axis are still one thing i dont quite understand. surfingoz wants you to put 0 under all the positions, and 4 under all the sizes. try setting the positions to 1 or experimenting around a bit with them. wish he would give a more detailed example. BTW... you dont have to save your textures as 512 X 512, they just need to be in powers of 2.(128, 256, 512 and 1,024 are all powes of 2)
