Thanks!

Apologies for the delay in updating. The park inspectors who are being flown in are held up by visa problems. As a result, opening day will have to be delayed for a week or two. Thank you all once again for your support! You will hear from us again soon.

Dear mailing list subscribers,

Please accept our apologies for the delayed update. The past few weeks have been extremely busy here at the Pahoehoe Group offices. After the park inspectors have been cleared to fly to the location of our new resort and once the inspections are done, we have been busy with preparations for opening day.

Two weeks ago, we sent out promotional materials announcing the grand opening of the park on the 12th of September. And grand it was. Here are some pictures from the day courtesy of our photographer.

The first few guests walked through the gates at 10:00 am. An exciting day awaits them...

As the management did not open up all the rides at once, tickets for opening day included either one night's stay at the Peninsula Hotel and two days' entry to the park or three days' entry to the park and a discount voucher for a few participating hotels nearby.

The Ouroboros was open first, and it saw guests queuing in no time:

We opened the tall water slides at 1:00 pm, and soon guests were giving them a try:

Dragon's Back

The view from the top is definitely not for the faint-hearted.

On the way up, guests might see Ouroboros pass by as it ascends, full of exhilarated riders:

The Haunted Dormitory saw its fair share of guests too:

At 4:00 pm, River Ruins Ride was opened:

And the first lion show also began:

The day began earlier the following day. Near the northern beach, the Carousel was open from 9:00 am:

And few things are as refreshing as going on the treetop walk to enjoy the crisp morning air.

The outdoor water slide was opened at 10:00 am. Here's a shot of the first ride commencing:

The lazy river was also opened. Lucky swimmers may have close encounters with the Ouroboros as it flies past close to the water.

Night falls on the second day, and still guests are enjoying the park's attractions. In this photo, we can see a few taking a night ride on the Ferris wheel on St Bernard's Island:

And the Aztec temple was lit up with as the pool was still open as well:

However, before long, many guests were already beginning to leave. Some of them took the water taxi from the pier to the station near St. Bernard's Island to catch a ferry from the terminal:

And this brings us to the end of the second day of the park and our photo story.

Here are some awards that the park has won so far:

Tidiest Park
Most Beautiful
Safest Park
Best Reliability
Best Western Scenery

So what are you waiting for? Book your ticket or resort package now! We promise that you won't be disappointed!

As we come to the end of this update, we would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for following our reports on the progress of the park. We look forward to communicating with you again on future projects. For now, goodbye and have a good weekend!

Yours sincerely,
