RCT3 Disk not being read

I think Alex has the best solution, seeing as it is not the disk itself. It probably is the laptop itself that has something wrong with the inside. You did say you bought it quite a few years ago, even if it wern't the right system, it would probably have an error box pop up and inform you.

The only error me

The only error message is "Please insert a disk"
Also, herp de derp, torrent wants me to insert a disk. I think I probably should just burn all the files to a new working disk, so I can have it work better as well. Oh well.

EDIT: Herp de derp, the torrent had a No CD thing. I fail at this! Oh well, at least I'll be able to play RCT3 again!

Does the laptop respond to any other disks you put in it?

Yes, the only ones I think it didn't respond to were RCT3 and JPOG (Jurassic Park Operation Genesis)
EDIT: Confirmed, JPOG and RCT3 are not being responded to.
