ok....What was your favorite thing about Roller coaster tycoon 1?
I think my favorite part was that it was a nice, easy to use game. :lol:

The best thing, hmmm. That it was easy to use, even though I, as a 8/9 year old boy, who hadn't even seen/heard english, understood the english version.

The favorite thing? There's so many. But I can tell you the funnyest thing.
When lightning storms came around, I used to run around the park and shut down the tower rides and the steel coasters, because I thought they'd get struck by lightning.
I guess the mass balloon launch & applause when you win a scenario is my favorite. Wait a minute or so, and they all begin to pop at higher altitudes.
If I knew the win was in the bag, I would place about a dozen extra balloon stalls all over the park and charge $0.30 (cost of baloons,) and everyone would have a balloon for the win in the end.
I also saved the games just a day or so before I won. So I can replay the balloon launch and the applause.
