Is RCT3 nostalgic to you?

#1
I got it when it came out in '04-'06 (I think... been a while). I stopped cause I lost interest 2 years ago. LAtely I have been thinking about it. The coasters, the peeps, the water slides, CS, etc. And I had a strong urge to play it.... now I'm addicted again. Just wondering if anybody else missed the game and decided to play it again for whatever reasons.

Yes, I lost interest for about 4 months, and then I made up for it on these forums and my downloads.

Yes, it came out in '04. I remember because I got it for Christmas that year and I didn't leave my computer for the rest of that winter break.

I tend to have the same experience with RCT2 as you do with RCT3. I'll have an urge to play it, which can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks (it happens every December, oddly enough), and then I'll lose interest in it again for a few months. I still have one park I work on occasionally that I started in December of 2011.

I totally understand where you're coming from but in this particular case RCT3 is not nostalgic to me because I still play it :-) I bought it the same month it came out if I remember correctly, and it's the one game that keeps me entertained after all these years, and I'm still learning so much (only recently I have been learning to create my own custom stuff).

I can't still create CS. - I tried but it failed. Smile

I still consider it a modern game in spite of it coming out 9 years ago. I still play my old systems: Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Genesis, Commodore64, etc. So who It depends on how long you've been playing I guess.

What a coincidence. I got the game in 2009 but I actually stopped 2 years ago though. Began to miss it so I played it again starting late last year.

I remember playing the game while I was way younger. Now that I'm going to High School the feeling is nostalgic when I use the original in-game scenery and yet rather new when I use amazing CS.
