Lakeside Village is a park that I have been working on since December 2008. It's been a work in progress for a long time, but I am finally ready to share with you the entire, completed park. It really is a fantastic park, so let's get started!

Park Entrance: June 30

The first building you see as you approach the park.

Buy your tickets and use the restroom before entering the park.

Great photo opportunity!

The park entrance. Just pass through the turnstiles and you're in the entrance village.

You'll quickly become familiar with the park's relaxed, woodsy feel.

A collection of shops and eateries line the entrance village.

Staying true to its name, the entrance village abuts one of the park's lakes.

A look down the entrance village.

The first rides you come to in the park. This area features a collection of family friendly rides, including Bumper Cars, the Grand Carousel, and a Ferris Wheel.

A shot of the family area from one of the lakes.

Another shot of the family area. You can see the park entrance in the distance.

Purple Haze and Raging Machine: July 1

Following the entrance, you come to a fork in the path, one way leading to Purple Haze and Raging Machine, the other leading to the rest of the park.

You'll come across a small shop and restaurant before reaching the rest of the area.

A collection of eateries, with outdoor seating as well, immediately across from Purple Haze's station.

One of the park's many restrooms, looking towards Purple Haze.

Another collection of eateries and rides. You can also cross the lake to another eatery.

Looking back across the lake. The natural beauty of Lakeside Village simply cannot be beat.

One of Purple Haze's towers, as well as a look back at some of the eateries.

Watch out, or you might just hit the ground!

Raging Machine's station and queue sit at the very edge of the park.

Raging Machine's first overbanked turn, immediately following the first drop.

Following the three loops, the second overbanked turn flies right over top of the station.

It makes for quite a unique ride!

I should have yet another update soon. Smile

All of the coaster names are pretty random... they're just whatever came to mind.

Most of the buildings are built with Shyguy's Catfish Cove set, with some pieces being used from his other sets.

Blazer: July 5

Remember the fork in the path you reach to after the entrance? Well, Blazer is the first thing you come to if you go the opposite direction - to the right.

Blazer's entrance. The queue is actually built underground; the front building here is actually a restaurant.

A look at Blazer's station. Here you see the final brake run and turnaround, the (outdoor) exit station, the (indoor) entrance station, and the restaurant built over the queue.

The lift hill. Blazer runs parallel to the edge of one of the main lakes.

A mix of elements: The first drop, a collection of inversions, and a bunny hop.

The far end of Blazer, featuring Blazer's top hat, two of its thrilling turnarounds, and several of its inversions.

Blazer weaves in and around itself several times.

Blazer integrates beautifully with Lakeside Village's natural landscape.

After the first turnaround, riders drift through a valley before getting their picture taken.

Riders are slowed to a near-stop before being launched into the top hat and a vertical bunny hop.

Blazer features several head chopping moments!

There's something for just about everyone.

Even more soon! Smile

Thanks! Smile I'd ride it too, to be honest.

I should have another update shortly...

The Boardwalk: July 6

The Boardwalk is a village just to the west of Blazer. It has a small collection of flat rides, shops, and eateries.

Looking towards the Boardwalk from Blazer's entrance. Here you only see only about half of the entire area - the "south" end.

A look back towards the south end of the Boardwalk from across the lake.

A nice overhead view of the south end of the Boardwalk and two of its flat rides.

You get to the Boardwalk by either descending one of the (rather steeply) sloped paths or coming down one of the sets of stairs. There's several ways to get down to the Boardwalk; it's pretty hard to miss!

A lakeside eatery, along with shops and the chair swing in the background.

There's nothing like soaring over the water in a classic chair swing!

A pleasant plaza towards the north end of the Boardwalk. If you look in the lake, you can see the reflection of the roller coaster on the other side!

These buildings are actually quite unique - they do not contain shops or eateries, but instead two smaller flat rides.

The Lighthouse provides a fitting close to the north end of the Boardwalk.

Another update should be ready tomorrow, where we'll cross the bridge to the roller coaster on the other side. Smile
