The station looks fine, just put a 1894 or train station sign on the wall of the entrance. My guess is that it will look great when you put the train in.

Hi this is David Gordon. Usually by know i would have an update ready and waiting for all you guys so see, But do to recent events i have been unable to even put one together."Well what happend?" you say. Well all I'm aloud to say at this moment is that a worker from an company who we have purchased a ride from was hurt in a fall when the D-Ring in his harness use to hold him up fail. He suffered some severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital.I will let you know more when more is available to me.

Hey everyone David Gordon again with another update. First a message form Glendale Roberson founder of AAI concerning what happend back in March......

For those of you who do not know me my name is Glendale Roberson founder and CFO of Alabama Amusement Inc. and we here at AAI are glad to say that the young man who was injured in a very misfortunet accident (whose name we still can not reveal yet) will make a full recovery very soon, And in his Honer on opening day he will be the Grand Marshel for that glorious day to celebrate his health and MeadowBrook Gardens. So keep this young man in your prayers and see you all opening day.
Good for him ill say. Okay now on to the update.


Land clearing is allways going at a steady pace!!!


This is what this area looked like late fall of last year. These next few pics will show you our continued progress!!!!


The people over at KEI have done a great job on the Center Street Theater.


Besides a few minor exterior and interior details its basically ready to go!!! Here is a few shot of the inside

The first ride you will see at the end of Center Street is our Grand Carousel in all of its glory...


A few final touches and it will be ready to go..


This building next to the Grand Carousel was going to be just a seating area, but i think where going to make it an small eatery to..


Next we have The Round Abouts


A drive threw a small park garden type stettin in 1940s style cars for Kids and Adults to both enjoy!!!!!


Its not a major attraction but i think its going to be an hit wit the families..


Now we have to put in something to bring in the tween to teen crowd. I present to you ROTOR!!!!


I'm sure after our guest(you) take a spin on this high gravity ride you might regret that cotton candy and coke you grabbed at S&S on the way in!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone this is David Gordon bringing you another great update.Well its the 1st of May and MBG first coaster is ready for its close up! I present to you.....

ArrowDynamics one of the world leading rollercoaster and flatride manufactures has put in many hours of hard work in to make sure this coaster was up in running, even though one of their own (may your prayers be with him) was hurt in the process. We here at Meadowbrook Gardens are very proud of this achievement. We hope that The ALABAMA SLAMA goes on in history not only as one of MBG best coasters, but as one of the worlds most known coasters. Now lets get on with some pictures!!!!!


This coaster does not have any particular layout. It follows the terrain so its considered an terrain coaster. Here's the story of the ALABAMA SLAMA.

Along time ago when this quarry was operational, a young man by the Name of Cephis Jones was hard at work doing what he love the most mining limestone. Cephis was the best worker this quarry ever had.The Head of the quarry noticed Cephis's hard work every day.He allways thought nobody could slam a hammer or axe like Cephis so he gave him the nickname The Alabama Slama. The other workers hated him dearly and decided that this had to stop. So one day a storm was brewing over MeadowBrook and the workers felt like today would be the day that Cephis disappeard.When the rain came Cephis was still hard at work. the hatefull workers ambushed Cephis tied him up, tape his mouth closed, and threw him deep in to the mine.See this part of the mine was know for flooding in good rain and the hatefull workers knew this. They all knew this would be the end of Cephis Jones. When the storm cleared Cephis lifeless body was found at the entrance to the mine where the rushing water left him.Everybody thought it was an accident and a memorial service was held for Cephis, But the hatefull workers new what happend and had got away scott free with murder!!!
But Chephis knows what happen and will not rest in peace until the truth come out and his death is brought to justices. He now hunts this quarry with his axe in hand turning anybody he sees into dust. If you can ever get close enough to the the walls of the quarry wit out being killed you will see these words "The Alabama Slama will be Aevenged"


After being dispatched, you make a small left turn and proceed up the lift hill.


Once you have reached the top, you descend in to the first curve.At this point your thinking okay this really is a kiddie coaster...


But before you can even finish your thought, it shows you how it earned its name as it slams you down in to the abandon rock quarry......


...and spits you out the otherside and shoots you around the old processing plant.


After you come out of the quarter helix you proceed up the next hill still amazed at this little coasters seemingly break neck speed.


Your really only doing 35 to 40 MPH (depends on the weight of the train) but by time you realize how fast you think your going, your being hit wit a little air time as you shoot across the top of the hill....


After you come down from space (the air time you just experienced) you descend into another quarter helix.....


...followed by a left turn into the small Bunny hill for some more airtime...


..and just as soon as you think the ALABAMA SLAMA has let you out of its grasp, it shoots you back below the earth one more time as it dives under its self emerging on the otherside and it take a sharp right turn. Your now confused don't know whats coming next, scared wit your eyes closed screaming "when will it stop and why did i ever get on this ride aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" Then all of a sudden...........................................
It stops!!!!!


your siting on the brake run trying to catch your breath and you ask yourself "Wow did that really just happen?".......I want to ride again!!!!!


Your ride is now over as you enter the station. Your hair still in a frizz.Now are you brave enough to ride again or did another soul just Bite The Dust. Its your choice!!!!!!!

Wow this looks so real i cant wait for the next update

David Gordon here. I thought since i had a little bit of free time i would show you a few pics of our recently completed water ride.

On this very wet ride you portray an explore traveling though the peaks Red Mountain( a actual mountain peak here in Alabama look it up if you don't believe me!) in search of an local myth that the fountain of youth is deep inside these mountains. Lets take a ride!!


You start your journey as you enter the sation...


..... and you board one of the Explorer Boats inside Red Mountain Splashes station.


we have plenty of shelf room for the guest to but there things so they will not get drenched.( because they will)


You begin your journey as you leave the station and make a small turn towards the lift hill and begin your climb up Red Mountain.


Once you have reached the top, you begin your search as you wander threw Red Mountain.


After a few dips and turns you head towards the look out tower.


Maybe you can get a better view from up here..



But as soon as you reach the top, you fall right back down deeper into the mountain.



when you reach the bottom you are greeted with tons of water and a bright light.(smile for the splash cam!)



Now the waters are calm and you can calm down yourself and finish your search.



after a small climb you reach this gate. Whats behind it hmmm.



You pass threw the gates and it slams behind you. What is that sound? you ask.Its the sound of rushing water.Where is it coming from?



Could it be? Have you found what your where looking for?



Yes you have found the Fountain Of Youth!!



The Guardian of the fountain has greeted you with open arms and showers you wit the power of the fountain.



Now do not use The Fountain's powers for evil or you will end up like this guy!!!!



Now your ride is over.Do you feel any younger? If not, just ride it again!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!!

Hey David Gordon here and man do i have an update for you.

Do you remember this?



Well that was the before pic and here id the after...




The main body of our park is now complete With the addition of our Midway and BushHill Pass! Our Midway includes The Bumper 2 Bumber Ride, Ferris wheel,Good Eats, and Joe's hot dogs Funnel Cakes and more!



Here we have our Bumper 2 Bumper Ride. We Feel like this is going to be an hit wit the family crowd.



Here's a view from atop of B2B looking out at our two eating areas and the entrance to the Midway.

And since where on the subject of eating here is one of our Midway eateries Good Eats!!!!
Its serves American food such as Hamburgers, fries, subs, and drinks...



And here is our other restaurant Joe's Hotdogs Funnel Cakes and More!!!!The name says it all!!!



Ah and here is our crown Jewel.The Ferris wheel.



Its the center of attention when you reach the end of the midway isn't she lovely.



Now on to Bush Hill Pass



the first thing you notice when you enter BHP is our Observation Tower "The Upper Deck"



The Upper Deck will provide its riders with a full 360 degree view of the park.Where still trying to see if this should be an up charge attraction or not!



It definitely has changed the skyline of MBG. Its the tallest thing here, but that's going to change sooner or later!!!!!

Bush Hill Pass leads out into the mid way.There's not allot to see yet on Bush Hill Pass but we all know that's not going to last long.

and since where talking about train stations here is the revamped Center street Staion.
